Daily affirmations for self esteem are one of many ways I recommend for building self esteem and self confidence. Not only do they make you feel better about yourself, they will help you BE better for yourself.
Most people have a stream of constant chatter going on in their heads. Unfortunately, much of what they say to themselves is negative. And that negativity stops them from being as happy, healthy, and successful as they could be. In fact, it unconsciously sabotages their lives.
Think about it:
Most people wouldn’t dream of talking to their worst enemy the way they speak to themselves. They call themselves “stupid,” “fat,” “ugly” -- or worse. Imagine hearing that from your friends all day.
Ouch! No wonder so many people have low self esteem!
Positive daily affirmations can help you replace negative self talk and assist you to build more positive beliefs about yourself. I also recommend that you incorporate subconscious mind power techniques in your personal development plan.
When writing affirmations, be sure to write them in present tense and phrase them in the most positive way. For example, if you want to change your self talk from negative to positive, don’t say: “I will no longer call myself stupid,” instead say something like “I love and accept myself just as I am” or “I am unconditionally friendly to myself and others,” or “I am whole and complete within myself.”
